Sheng Li Digital is a subsidiary of Major Tom, a full-service digital agency founded in 2000.

Our team first started providing Chinese marketing services to HSBC in 2009 when they were looking to attract customers from China to set up new high-interest savings accounts in the U.S. and Canada. Soon after, numerous real estate clients started inquiring about reaching Chinese customers. As our portfolio of clients running Chinese marketing campaigns grew, we noted such a great need for these services that we decided to launch a new agency that would focus solely on providing services related to Chinese marketing and advertising.

In 2013, the concept of Sheng Li Digital was developed; in March 2014, we had our big unveiling of the new agency at SXSW in Austin, TX.

Since then, the agency has grown to have offices in New York, Toronto, and Vancouver, with a variety of clients from a wide range of industries. Big brand name clients include KLM Airlines and Cirque du Soleil, to name a few, but also many smaller organizations such as auto dealerships, real estate developers, and travel and tourism organizations. We help brands big and small reach Chinese customers, no matter the size of the project.


Chris Breikss

Co-founder of 6S Marketing and Sheng Li Digital, Chris focuses his time on business development and leading their sales and marketing teams. He runs marketing initiatives for Sheng Li and oversees development of new Chinese marketing products. Chris currently lives in New York, furthering Sheng Li’s global expansion one step a time.

John Blown

John has been leading digital marketing teams for over 15 years. A graduate of UBC’s Sauder School of Business, he’s passionate about the digital world and Chinese commerce, and the convergence of these mediums. John co-founded 6S Marketing in 2000 and manages the development and agency growth of Sheng Li.

Amy Bao

A graduate from UBC’s Sauder School of business, Amy is the lead project manager of the Sheng Li team. Amy manages multiple accounts and ensures appropriate allocation of clients’ budgets between various Chinese marketing channels. Born and raised in China, she’s led initiatives for clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Air France – KLM Group, Blanche Macdonald, and the W Hollywood, and has extensive experience running international social media campaigns.

April Yau

April is a graduate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Bachelor of Business Administration program, specializing in Marketing Communications. As an Account Manager, she provides expertise in social media marketing, Google Analytics, search engine optimization and more.
